Point Yourself "North" to see why we rock!
Hello Bakery Fans -
While many of us have essentially stopped watching the news to prevent more head trauma from forehead smacking yourself on the latest government goof, we DO have some good news to report.

The fine folks at "Points North" magazine, yes that excellent glossy you can find at most major food and retail outlets, has decided WE are worth reviewing. We set them up with plates and plates of goodies to sample and, well.... see for yourself:
http://www.ptsnorth.com/content/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=91&Itemid=37

We hope the food coma was what prompted them to write such nice things about us. We aren't sure when this review will hit the actual magazine but this is yet another sign, Forsyth that we are all in on a great discovery and best kept secret!!! (Now you just need to tell more people!)

Also, get those Easter orders in now...April will be here in 1 week and then soon enough, April 12th will be upon us. Got Coconut Cake?

See you this week!

It Ain't Easy Being Green...Happy St. Patty's Anyway
Hello Bakery Fans -
Well as my very Irish brothers will tell you, tis' the season for Guinness! And while there will be no killer Irish draft in my mug this evening we do want to wish a happy St. Patrick's Day to all. Stop by for your share of the "green" in our cupcakes and cookies.
Speaking of green, THANK YOU Forsyth County for making our "Doughnut Stimulus Plan" a total hit and very popular. We even got a little buzz in the media about it. (You know us, anything for a laugh!) We will definitely bring back the Doughnut Stimulus Plan very soon.

Well the calendars don't lie, it really is the middle of March which means April is shortly upon us. And while I will be "ignoring" my next birthday in April it will be time for Easter! Several of you have already stepped to the front of the line and gotten your Easter orders in early. Don't be left out - GET THOSE ORDERS IN SOON! The Easter Bunny has already requested several of our Coconut Cakes and Strawberry Daiquiri Cakes. (I had no idea the Bunny liked Cornbread either, it must be the beer corn!!!)

Thanks for hanging out with us Forsyth...and Hall, and Fulton, and Gwinnett, and Cherokee counties....we are amazed at how far many of you are driving just to come see little ol' us.  Know that we appreciate it and while our competitors might be worried...we aren't!
Come see what all the fuss is about!

Voted in for another term...the Doughnut Stimulus Package
Hello Bakery Fans -
Well March is upon us and I am sure I share some of your collective disappointment that EVERYBODY got snow all over this state except us here in Forsyth.  My kids were so sad to head off to school today since there was nothing white stuck on the ground except my neighbor's newspaper. Hope everyone had fun in the snow and while it was pretty to look at, it was a complete tease; no accumulation at our house!

Speaking of teases we appreciate your compliments and smirks at our Doughnut Stimulus Plan signs all over the bakery and by popular demand we will be extending it for one more week! That's right if the economic situation in this country is enough to send you to the bottle, get yourself up to the bakery for your "share of the wealth" and get any doughnut of your choice and a 16oz. coffee for just $2.50. Nothing soothes fear and concern while watching this country take such a sharp turn for the San Francisco coast than delicious white chocolate, chocolate and cinnamon doughnuts warmed in our ovens. Need a place to spend that whopping $13 "tax cut" you will be receiving?  ....We can help!

See you this week - anyone up for a "Lake Lanier Tea Party" of our own?
